Day 9 - Sean the Mad Scientist
This is Sean, he’s a mad scientist. And I believe I fully captured his insanity in this photo. You can see the depths of his scientific madness as you peer into his eyes. Also he’s wearing a lab coat and welding goggles, what more proof do you need?

Day 6,7,8 - 3 Days of Awesome in Kingston
As stated in my previous post, I spent the weekend in Kingston visiting my friends who go to Queens University. Like most University trips, it involved good times, lots of friends, and copious amounts of alcohol. All in all, one of the best times we’ve had yet in Kingston. So here are just a few of the many photos I took during our stay. Enjoy!
Kingston
So I was supposed to post a photo last night, but I’m in Kingston this weekend and don’t have the ability to post. None the less I’m taking photos, and you’ll see a multipost Sunday more then likely. Until then, hang tight and have a good weekend.
Day 5 - My Bedroom
I chose to take a picture of my room for various reasons. 1: I like how it looks at night with the lights on, 2: I like the design I created for my room, 3: I wanted to show you guys where I sleep. I really love my room, even though it is often messy, but to show you a clean picture would be a fabrication of what my room really is.
Day 4 - Driving
I forgot to bring my camera with me tonight, so this is taken with my iPhone. But in the spirit if keeping up with this, a photo from my late night drive.
Organization!
I spent some time today going through my wedding/prom/engagment photos to choose a good handful to post to my website, so if you haven’t seem them, check them out here Weddings/Proms/Engagements
Day 3 - Time
I might actually do a series of photos of my watches, I have about 10 of them, when I get some time. Might set up a light box and shoot a set. Expect more perhaps…
Day 2 - Forget photos, how about some video!
I had a chance to play around with a 5D MkII at work today, paired it with the new 100mm F2.8 ISii Macro Lens and decided to take some video shots of an older film camera we had on display. Its my first attempt at making something with DSLR video, so be gentle!
Day 1 - Sleeping.
You’ll probably see lots of pictures of my cats, this is Delilah, because their cute and photogenic and I love them. Also this was taken January 15th at 2:30am, so it definitely count’s as day 1.
Project 365 (Or in my case 350)
So I’ve seen some fellow photographers participating in something called Project 365. What is project 365? Well its a task to take a new photo every day and post it to this project. To be honest, I like this idea not because it’s trendy at the moment, but because I feel like every since I’ve taken up photography as a job, I’ve lost my ambition to shoot for myself. I shot way more creatively when I was younger and doing it because I liked it, not because I was paid for it. So for me this task is something to try and bring my creativity back. I can’t promise all the photos will be good, and I can’t promise that I’ll show you 350 new photos, but if I can at least try and keep one of the 3 good camera’s I have in my hands more often, I might be able to rekindle that creative spark I’ve lost.
Hopefully it won’t be a failure.
P.S - Its project 350 for me for 2 reasons; 1) I didn’t hear about this concept until about 10 days into the year, 2) figured I’d start on some logical number. (And yes depending on where in the world you are, technically this would be day 349, but I just didn’t have time to write this post today, so were claiming this next photo as the 15th of January, and I’ll post a second to make the 16th of January.
An amazing display of both architectural beauty, and CG Visuals. This entire film is CG, nothing is real. Watch in FULL SCREEN!
Photo from the Moscow Bridge, neat perspective with the cable lines running up the photo.
Showing off the true power of DSLR video.
4d picture concepts to change the way we think about photos.
